Hey Robert,
I saw a post of yours about VONAGE, here it is below:
could you please tell me how exactly you wired your vonage box into your house lines?
did you connect the phone out from the vonage box directly to 1 phone jack in your house?
I tried this and they (vonage) told me that I shouldnt do that as I could kill the box, I wonder if this works cause Im stuck with 1 phone jack and if I could rewire this to use my house wireing i could have phone jacks all over the house instead?
anyway thanks,
I hope you see this, I couldnt find a way to direcly PM you since your were a only "guest"

For those without landlines, and whom have broadband (dsl or cable) why not
get http://www.vonage.com ? They have a $14.99 plan that includes 500
minutes or $24.99 for unlimited local and 500 long distance (that's what I
have).
I wired my vonage box into my house lines (which were dead after
discontinuing my bell company) so now all my house jacks are live with
vonage. Plug in a dsl filter from radio shack for $10 and you're good to go.
That's what I did to get my Brinks home security system to work, which also
requires a land line
HTH,
Robert
