I watched it on E*. I recall on Sunday I had pixelation during the scene when the boy's friend is outside his window. There may have been another time on Sunday night, but I can't remember what scene it was. On Monday I had bad pixelation when Barlow and the priest were at the boy's house. That's the only problem I noticed Monday. Overall I thought the picture and sound quality was pretty good. I didn't really care for the changes the hollywood hacks did to the storyline though. The original mini series with David Soul followed the book more closely.

Same here... green screen even at one rather key) point. I thought it was fairly disapointing in the end. They REALLY butchered the book, which is a great story. I prefer the original movie.

PQ / Sound aside, I'll try and remember (the story) from the book/1979 release. They needed to stretch this one a few more nights to get the book's point across. Although it could have been worse.
