Satellite Problem

I had a Dish service call last week. I was getting bad pixelation on ABC. The tech checked my system and said that everything was fine. The problem was nationwide. Dish was having trouble with a satellite that rebroadcasts ABC on channel 3 and CBS on channel 15 sometimes. There was nothing he could do to fix the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I has been about a month now. Lately it has been getting worse.

Channel/Station?

Rapid City South Dakota. Mainly Channel 3, ABC KOTA. A few times on Channel 15 CBC KCLO. I have a Dish OTA module and an outside antenna. I get really good signals with it and have switched ABC to the OTA channel for recording. It has been a whole lot better now using OTA. The Dish technician knows someone at this station and was told by him that there is no problems with the local broadcasting. The station has Dish service and they are also having the pixelation problem. It has something do do with the Dish Satellite.

I record shows on ABC every week and have not seen the problem since maybe early last month. Must be lucky!
