SATLINK 6923 SETUP

Does anyone have a 6923, need some help to set it up for Canada, the software does not work.

It only appears to have German or Italian Software, V1.5

Never heard if them, sorry.

I was looking for a new meter too, so asked the question what satellites for North America are included and this was there response. Not much help...

it have echo star etc North America satellite list inside.
and you
can using edit software on computer to add new satellite and
transponder.

Sad to say you get what you pay for with almost all these Chinese meters. At least an Echostar bird, 110 or 119 will be the same TP frequencies as Nimiq 91 & 82, although only TP15 and one other are QPSK on 82 if I recall correctly. 91 is almost all QPSK, I believe.

I use and recommend the Super Buddy as a meter, it is not cheap but is a great meter, not aimed (sorry for the pun) at the DIY guy though, it is really for the full time installer.
