Saving shows from DVR to a computer?

IS there any way I can access all the stuff I have saved on my HD-DVR to my computer? I have HR-21-700 with the latest CE version that came out on 2/9/08. I have VOD working and networking activated, i.e. I can access my laptop photos and music from DVR.

At this time, the only way to do it is with real time recording into the computer.
