September's Almost Over...now where are the new hd channels?

Are we a little spoiled! Anyway, if it were up to me, Dish would use its current bandwidth to covert the current HD channels to 1920 X 1080. I would also like to see Dish and Rainbow media(pipe dream) convert the current Voom channels to about three channels with fewer repeats, and then use the extra capacity to add the BEST HD channels that Direct TV has/will add. I know baseball fans want TBS HD for the baseball playoffs, but that channel has almost no original HD programming....give us more bang for our buck.

How about keeping Monsters HD as is (that is pretty much the only Voom I watch with the exception of Rave or whatever that has the concerts) and consolidating the rest of the channels. Monsters HD is the main reason I have the Voom package.

While we're at it then, I think that HDTHR(Old DSCHD), UNIHD, HD Net, HD Net Movies, HGTVHD, FoodHD, HTGEO, Disc, Animl, Hist, etc and probably even Sho and HBO should be consolidated into about 4 channels, as there is seriously about as much repetition there as on Voom. I'm not advocating any type of consolidation on any of these channels, including Voom. I just dont understand why people think Voom is worse than any of the other channels. I LOVE 'Build it Bigger' on Disc, but the same episodes are on over and over and over, and I watch them over and over and over.

Monsters HD is an excellent channel. Whenever someone asks about Voom (or says 'what's the big deal? like D* shills) I always bring up Monsters HD. That Hitchcock marathon a couple of weeks back was awesome.
