Sling TV CES Editors top Picks

ESPN without Cable/Sat is huge! While HBO will be selling their own Go service, is there no reason to hop onto Sling TV as well?
GO Sling TV, the more you sell the happier people will be. Take Back TV!

But the one key thing is the DVR, which is one of the most important inventions ever. It stands next to the MP3 and the printing press. Sling TV takes back LIVE tv, not the overall television experience. This will work for some, but it is limited... which is understandable based on the price line.

Was thinking that CES would see the greatness of this service and really this has not sunk in yet as to what a quantum leap for TV this is going to be, there will be media stories for Sling TV for a long time coming. Which begs the question, Will Sling swing for a Super Bowl ad? People just love the commercials during the Big One, LOL Sling TV is going to make everyday the big one. ESPN is a Huge game changer, Sling TV has a shot at being a top tier provider for this new/old, back to the future of AD supported/paid TV market.
Indicators are that the DVR will come with the presumed to be released, Premium Home pack, most agree that these internet, 2 way TV, AD supported/paid services are headed into the home but Dish must act swiftly as there are many, many competitors releasing this same type 2 way, targeted TV service in 2015. This is the way TV operated for decades before the rise of Big cable, only now do we get 2 way capabilities. Will be nice to vote on a wacked out call during our beloved football games. Take Back TV!

Well it sort of has DVR abilities. You can pause and rewind live TV (most channels, but not ESPN). You also can "lookback" 3 days and watch shows (except ESPN). Plus you have access to the apps of these channels with on demand programming.
