That's pretty awful and could dissuade me from even starting up the Xbox One trial when things finally slow down a little bit for me.

I wonder if this is just temporary; as services negotiate new contracts I would think they would include the rights to stream a show online. Or, they'll find a way to replace those syndicated shows with programming their channel owns the rights to, not just paid programming.
