When do you all think Dish will provide a HD receiver with two, thats 2 hard drives. Not 2 tuners like the 622/722 but two acual drives??

Ya think? I am thinking that maybe the increase in size (722) and ability to attach other drives is just a step towards 2 drives, in fact I thought I heard that guy that sits next to Charlie during the chats "hint" they were working on just this project.
Then again maybe allowing us to attach more drives sells more receivers.

Never gonna happen. With external support, dual drives just went down the tube.

As has been stated, there is really no logical sense or need for dual drives. I know TiVo Series 2 could support 2 hard drives, but that was back when the largest drive was 20 gb.
