Dang, they need to add Teal'c to the SGA cast. He and Ronin Dex make one helluva team. :D

And by the way, why didn't Ronin and Teal'c seal the iris when they got to SGC? Was it locked out? Would have seemed smart to me.

That's because the SGA writers may not have remembered the IRIS, since they never use one at Atlantis. :)

Just saw "The Last Man," a GREAT episode. I love when they tie-in a SG1 storyline (even if just with the concept of time-travel). I was bummed to realize it was the season finale.

I did not know Amanda Tapping was leaving. When was that reported?

Bummer -- she never really gelled in the role as commander. She seemed so different from the SamI am used to in the first 5 seasons of SG1.

Well, after 11 years, I can imagine her wanting a break, AND she does have young kids. Still, she is one of my favorite actresses. I think she would do well in mainstream (gasp, did I just say that? :) ) tv.

She's not taking a break from acting. Rather SciFi picked up Sanctuary which she stars in and produces. I'm excited myself by the move. Her character hasn't really been used all that well on Atlantis, and she'll be front and center on the new show. If you haven't done so already, I definitely recommend watching the Sanctuary episodes that are already available (about 2 hours of content).
