I got a superdish reflector plate at a junkyard, and I got an idea to convert it into a dish 1000 plus. I have an LNB arm and a mount for it. Will it work if I got LNBs for a dish 1000 plus and put them on the superdish, and will the LNBs fit onto the arm without any modifications?

I tried the same thing

I have tried the same thing in the past and I never got it to work. Others have done it using a 105 or 121 FSS LNB and have gotten it to work.

I would recommend keep looking for an old PrimeStar or DirecPC Dish as these work great for FTA.

I'm not trying to discourage you I'm just saying I could never get the DISH dish to work for 123W or any other satellite location.

Sparky there is nothing special about the superdish. They are made specially for multi LNB use on strong signal and ease of installation. In fact they are multi focus with a considerable amount of signal scatter. With a single LNB you are only using about 50% 0f the dish area. Look out for a 90 or 1m offset

I have 1.0 meter a Channel Master dish. I do not know if it is an offset dish.
