Everything looks fine on your account that I could see, but just in case I reset your preferences.

See when I launch the app, the little bell icon on top populates and shows a notification. Why does the alert not go off when it is closed?

Ok, maybe I am not intelligent enough to understand the workings. I have enabled email notifications for Forums and Threads. Am I supposed to get an email if there is a new post in a thread that I subscribed to or not?

So there was an update to the Reader app, logged out and cleared the app cache, uninstalled the old one, cleared the phone cache, killed all tasks, rebooted the phone, installed the new version, logged in and it will for the life of me not give any notification whatsoever still.

What else is there I forgot to do?
