The Best Ring

I have two scaler rings. One is about 3/4" thick or deep and the other is 1-1/4" deep. The deeper one is also about 1/4" larger in diameter. Which one is the best to use or will it make no difference? Being used on a "C" band only 10 foot Winegard.

You are looking for a scalar that a) can mount on your dish securely, and b) allows your lnb to be set at the right focal length. The additional 1/4 inch in diameter isn't going to make any difference. At most it will block out a few square inches of reception area.
