The HD Locals Party Thread (4/23/08)

Those of you enjoying Greenville, SC HD locals. How do they look? how about content? When I watch them on OTA (the ones I can receive) a lot of time they are not broadcasting in HD when the same network in Atlanta is.

Greenville, SC Locals PQ

Picture quality of WYFF (NBC) is great. CBS the first day didnt look so great compared to OTA for me but the second day it looked pretty even. Havent really watched any WLOS (ABC) HD programming. (WHNS) Fox looks pretty good as well. WSPA (CBS) is the only one that does the news in HD. But the PQ looks great and after months of weak signals and the signal dropping in and out i wouldnt care if it macroblocked like crazy.

my installer just got here and thought my HD locals were on 129. I had to convince him that they were on 61.5

Those of you in the Greenville, SC area are you having to have a 2nd dish installed to get locals in HD?
