I've only had the HR34 for about 2 months and this message shows up on certain channels. I was hoping I could find the fix here but I guess not. I'll restart the receiver and see if that helps.
The solution is that you need to add a minimum of 6 recordings to the Genie's "Series Manager" list and that stupid pop-up goes away (on the HR34 and on any C31 clients too)
I found this out the hard way - by trial and error as DTV had no clue and no one here could figure it out as well.
