when i do a blind search a lot of transponders fail. signal 75% quality 60% is the signal to week? thanks

If channels don't scan in there may not be something there your receiver can recognize, FEC is very high (need more Q), or maybe the signals are scrambled (if you are searching for only FTA). A Quality of 60% is not really that great for DVB-S or especially DVB-S2 signals. If you can get that Q percentage up, try to re-scan.

Which particular sat/TP are you having trouble with?

-C.

Its pretty normal to see fail. It does not mean anything is wrong. I don't know the technical reasons.

Depending on the receiver model, Fail usually indicates that the transponder has no Audio or Video services flagged in the transport stream. On other receivers, fail also could indicate that no new audio or video services were logged when rescanning the transponder.

Of course, we know that some audio and video services are "hidden". They may actually exist, but they are not listed in the transponder tables. If you know they exist, you can manually enter the PIDs.

These hidden services are kinda like having an internet connection without Google. You could randomly type URLs and might find some web sites, but without the site being indexed, it is essentially hidden from the world. :)
