Because a lot of my Satellite Guys Friends have these. Who just happen to be D* customers. So that why it matters ,and that why I care.

Update: Service was installed on 9/7/2009 Installers was Chris and he did an awesome job.

I got the SWM and Only needed to fish 1 wire into the house. Only issue with equipment was the SD rec didn't like the SWM. He had to Run for another one. Second one was A-OK.

Chris agreed to the LOS on the roof install and dropped the dish on my pole mount. Readings in mid to high 90's.

PQ from D* is better than E* in HD for sure. About the same in SD. HD would be even better if I got the HR23. I got the Hr21. Plan on 2 more HR23's in future.

DVR are just a tad slower than E*'s. Mostly the guide.

All in all I am a happy camper. Well worth all the issues.
