Vip 622 and Cable

Can anyone please explain to me why does the 622 ota input has the following label on the 622 Antenna/Cable and in the setup you can select the type of cable or ota, but yet when I plug in the cable from tw, no channels show up.

Dish probably intended to have a cable tuner originally and then removed it to save money but forgot to change the design on the back panel.

They were originally going to have an ATSC/NTSC tuner like the 942 but had to drop it. They wound up useing a different chipset that only did ATSC.
