VIP211 & EH75V Recorder?

Does anyone know how to get the VIP211 to automatically record on the Hard Drive of the Panasonic EH75V? I have it all set up according to DISH but the code they game me only works if the uniy is st on VHS and since I really dont use the VHS I would like to get the recording to hard drive or DVD working for scheduling recordings on the 211 to an external recording device. any help would be appreciated...

I have a similar situation with a Panasonic DVD recorder. I use a combination of the Dish timers and the Panasonic manual timers.

I got it to work perfectly. I will look at which VCR code I am using tomorrow but I set a timer using ERD on the 211 and it records on the HDD of the 75V perfectly..
