Well apparently HD on this channel comes around about as often as Halley's Comet, so I figured I should probably save it for my grandkids to see someday.

No.

But 9 hours of HD per 24 hours is far from "no HD".

You just did not want to admit that you were unaware that they added a bunch of HD programming only a few days ago...

No, I just want to be able to turn to a channel and see something in HD more than every 8 hours if we're going to be jumping up and down for joy over another new HD channel. It's difficult to be aware that they added a "bunch of HD programming" when it only airs during full moons or solar eclipses.

Good grief. The Weather Channel just had their ribbon-cutting June 2. The channel will be a full HD channel in 3Q 2008. I am thankful that we have this channel. It is great to have live HD remotes compared to other news channels. I wish our local weather on 8S was like cable company, but E* version is better than nothing.
