You'll need to go to the Oppo website and download the beta firmware to a thumb drive or burn to a cd as being beta it is not an automatic upgrade. The software works on the BD-83 and BD-83SE only. Last night I was using the chess game application to show my wife how to play chess. Surprised me she never learned. It's a little awkward moving chess pieces around the board with the navigation arrows.
Vurb- I haven't heard of any new design like a book computer but Apple is said to introduce it's Tablet computer and that is supposed to be always connected. Not too much known about it yet but lots of rumors. It won't be at CES as Apple will have it's own show in SF.
Stonecold- I'll be on the lookout for TIVO but currently they will only have a meeting room, maybe a press conference. I've never seen TIVO have a booth at CES.
