What does Dish mean by International Core?

Disclosures If you would like international programming only, choose an International Core and at least one International Package. I'm trying to sign up my Uncle to Dish Network International Only Greek: Elite $24.99 HD Receiver $7.00 International Only 10.00 Is this correct

International Core is the basic package you need to sub to INt'l only. Its basically the religious/shopping channels

There use to be a $10 charge for Int'l only but now they throw in some channels
