What Will Dish Offer Paying Customers?

So far, every single time I have used a PPV coupon, it is not credited and I have to spend time time with Dish CS to get the credit. I refuse to use them anymore, not worth the trouble.

Same thing happens to me! I refused them and then they offered me $7 for one month.

I chatted online to see when the next Charlie Chat was so I could call in to complain about Fox and Disney/ESPN crap and the fact I'll probably be losing my local Fox channel on the 1st of November (hopefully the DVR will still record the OTA content when that happens). They connected me to to the retention department which gave me $10 off a month or 12 months plus three months of the Sports Package (wanted it for the Red Zone & Big Ten Network) for my inconvenience.

I guess I'll stick it out with E* unless they do something real stupid like lose more HD programming or raise their rates next spring that wipes out my savings.

Had Dish America Silver and recently updated to Dish America Gold (needed Versus)...I was able to upgrade to Top 250 w/ HD for life w/o the 2 year commitment or the one time $99 fee (had been planning on doing it eventually and just paying the fee). I also received $10 off per month for 12 months.

did this through chat, got a lot of "sorry for your inconvenience". Finally asked how much longer I was under contract (knowing I wasn't) after which he stated you are not under contract I am connecting you with an account specialist...

I was offered the $10 per month by the account specialist and I countered with the bump to top 250 w/ free hd for life (fee and commitment free) + the $10 per month (guess I should have asked for Red Zone as well )

My friend still with Dish, got $10 off a month for 12 months without commitment, however that is small consolation since he can't get MSG at all now and will not see the Buffalo Sabres games in SD or HD.

Hmmm..Come to think about it, maybe Dish is doing him a favor after the start the Sabres have had this year.
