Even if you don't have PS+ the game is CONSTANTLY put on sale. I've seen it as cheap as $5 at times. Add it to your Steam Wishlist and eventually you'll get it around that, although quite honestly it is worth a LOT more than that IMO.Just finished Spec Ops: The Line. It definitely took a different approach than most shooters out there. The story actually mattered to the game instead of just being a reason to shoot the next room full of bad guys. Plus they never try to make you feel like the hero after killing hundreds of people. It was a fairly short game, I finished it in 2 days, but the cover based shooting was solid and fair for the most part.
If you have PS Plus you got this one for free like I did so there really is no reason to miss it. Spec Ops is a game most people, myself included, overlooked. That really is a shame because the developers actually tried something new and should have been rewarded for it. If it hadn't been one of the free PS Plus games there is a good chance I never would have played it.

No real point on jumping on SR4 when it comes out. May as well wait until some DLC comes out and then it all goes on sale, not to mention we're only about 45 days out from GTA V. Don't want to get an Open World Overload of gaming.I think you will like Dishonored but I also thought you would like The Last of Us much more than you did so we'll see. The beginning of the game was a little frustrating but as you start to unlock more powers you start to feel like a total badass. I bought the Saints Row and Dead Island humble bundle too. I planned on skipping SR 2 and mainly bought the bundle for SR 3 and Dead Island GOTY. I would like to play SR 3 before SR 4 comes out but I don't think it's going to happen.
I really want to finish my PS3 library before the PS4 comes out and I still have some pretty big holes left. I'd say I'm about half way through Arkham City and I still haven't played inFamous 2, Uncharted 2 or 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, LittleBigPlanet 2, and all 3 Resistance games even though I have owned all of these games for months. Plus there are still new games coming out that I want to play. My guess is that LBP 2 and the Resistance series won't make the cut and I'll probably never play them.
I'm sure I will still use my PC quite a bit this summer but the focus has started to shift to my PS3 so I can sell it after I finish GTA V. I figure that I will have plenty of time to catch up on my PC backlog after the PS4 launch. Each new console seems to have a pretty slow release schedule once the launch games are all out so my PC will fill those gaps. There also seems to be a lack of quality games at the beginning of new console generations.

Well, I think it's safe to say that SR4 will have a DRASTIC price cut around the time that GTA V comes out..True, I won't be paying full price for SR4. It will either be a PC sale or a Gamefly rental. I planning on starting Sleeping Dogs on PC sometime in the near future too so there will be even more of an Open World Overload for me. I have to think SR 4's sales would be much better if they would have gotten farther away from GTA 5's release date. I think Rockstar through a lot of people off when they delayed GTA from Spring to Fall.

Can anyone offer their impressions of Hitman Absolution? It's the free game (starting today) for Plus members and I'm trying really hard to tear myself away from Borderlands 2, which I've been playing virtually non-stop for the last 6 weeks. Lately when I sit down to start my gaming session, I try to tell myself I'll reach in to my backlog for something new, only to say "Nah, I really just want to play Borderlands 2." lol
I did, however, manage to make a little progress in LEGO Batman 2 last night. Fun little game and the humor (with voice actors for the first time in a LEGO game) is well done. But when I got the ACE Chemical Plant and saw all the vats of lethal green chemicals, all I could think of was "I need to use corrosive weapons against armored enemies and loaders."
Deus Ex, which I finished two months ago, was one of my favorite games, so I'm thinking Hitman A. would be up my alley.
Hitman and Dues Ex are somewhat similar, but I think a big difference is that DEX allows stealth killing as an OPTION, whereas in Hitman it's more of a REQUIREMENT. So if you're all about stealth then it's probably worth checking out but if you AREN'T into stealth then it may be worth sticking around Pandora for a while longer..Can anyone offer their impressions of Hitman Absolution? I got DEX and the DLC for like $5 at the last Steam sale. It, like Dishonored, was a game that I tried for a little bit but never had time to really get into. I got no problem with stealth gameplay, but I prefer it more as an OPTION, in games such as the Metal Gear Solid games Batman: Arkham City. I don't like being severely punished for not doing the stealth properly. Thanks for the input. I actually hated stealth until I did two full no-alarms, no-kills playthroughs of Deus Ex and its DLC. Downloading Hitman now.![]()

Something tells me that Second Son is going to be it's own story. Don't feel teh need to replay the PS3 games just for a refresher. Not to be a spoiler, but let's just say that inFamous 2 pretty much wraps up the story, regardless of whether you're "good" or "bad."inFamous Second Son is the next gen game I am most looking forward to right now even though I still haven't played inFamous 2. Watch Dogs, Killzone, Titan Fall etc... and most of the other games people are really hyped for haven't piqued my interest so far. I would also put Dead Rising above all of those other games if I were getting a Xbox One at launch. For whatever reason inFamous is the game that is making me excited for the next generation to start.
Because of this I am about half way through replaying inFamous 1 as a refresher. I don't know if inFamous 2 will be next on my list for sure but I'm definitely going to play it before the PS4 launch. My PC isn't getting a lot of use right now. I have plenty to play on it but I'm currently trying to finish up my PS3 library first.
