Who will win: Patriots vs Giants

I don't think the Patriots should be labeled "perfect" just yet -- a caption they have received over at NFL.com.

In order to be perfect and match the Miami Dolphins, they'll need to win throughout the playoffs and then win the Super Bowl. And what, the fact that Belichek cheated doesn't even make a difference anymore? The Patriots are really just lucky -- they got a few calls in their favor against Baltimore (a game that, in the opinions of many, the Patriots would have lost if not for a little assistance from officials).

I'm no Patriots fan but I won't be able to deny the record. But first, they are going to need to win the Super Bowl.

Maybe in the first playoff game, somebody will just injure his throwing arm. That always seems to work... Of course, the leg will get him out of the game (which will work for me ) and, if, as one poster suggested, they take his head off eek, I guess the Patriots might then be in a rebuilding phase.

I agree there were some questionable calls in the Baltimore game. There were some last night, too. The bottom line is that the Patriots are better than the Giants.

I agree they arent perfect. But they have won as many games as the 'phins, the 'phins never played a team over .500 in the regular season, and the 'phins didnt have a salary cap to contend with.

Im my opinion if the Pats dont win it all they are just another good team. However, if they do win it all their accomplishment will dwarf the what the 'phins did.

And Mercury Morris can stick that in his "pipe" and smoke it!

This country loves winners, but not as much as it loves tearing them down. Personally I'm enjoying this peek at history being made. This is what I watch sports for - man achieving greatness.

Yeah, and it was fun watching them come back from a large deficit - to win the game with style.
