usually use 3 slots 61,5, 110 and 119.

my 61.5 slot has tree issue, so I disconnected it temporarily. later this week some pruning.

anyhow ran switch test on all my boxes after taking off 61.5...

508s updated fine :)

522 ran switch test, and correctly identified 110 and 119. :)

downloads new guide :)

Guide still shows 61.5 channels (sky angel) and gives error message, reporting problem wth switch.put 522 directly on DP quad didnt help :mad:

Multiple rebooting didnt help :mad:

Called E, tech support said this is how its supposed to be :no Because sky angel is authorized on card channels I cant watch will remaiin, and error messages will continue :shocked did say they might drop off after a few days:(

Over the years I have lost slots for a variety of reasons, whats up with this?

its raining today or I would just go trim the offending tree.

anyone care to try this with their 522, to see if oits a reproducable problem
 
I tried clearing the matrix, disconnected all sat feeds, rebooted and ran switch test.

wierd with NO SAT CONNECTIONS the box said that one connection had a problem....:( zero signal strength all around. ran switch test again, then rebooted lloaded guide and

After all this the phantom channels are still there.


Hopefully someone else will try this, so we know if its a reproducable problem.

we have plans tonight, if we get home and her shows dont record:(

Dont have time to activate and program the new 522:(
