The pricing in the first post of this thread has an asterisk next to $34.99 which indicates "additional $10 Business Fee will apply for Public viewing Subscribers."
Can anybody please clarify what a "public viewing subscriber" is?
TIA

None are included. Well, at least not in the base Flex package.Does anyone have info on the music channels (CD, Sirius etc)?
Bears repeating.....If you have to still "get everything you have now", you don't understand the purpose of these packages.
You have to do a "which channels do I 'need' ?" and look at the offerings.

I just did a chat and to get everything we have now (minus the religious, shopping, foreign language and a lot others) it would cost me $10 more a month than what I have now with AT 250 and there would be no music channels. I must have totally misread the Channel Pack Availability chart.

I really don't understand your confusion/question. If you thought you could pick and choose what you WANT from what you get in a normal package, you thought wrong. You take the packages, or not! Your choice.I think I misstated what I meant. I thought the purpose was to get rid of all the "garbage" channels that have never been watched by anyone in this household and keep what we do watch. Out of the 290 channels we do receive, we watch way less than 100. I thought getting flex was a way of clearing out all what we don't watch but we're paying for anyway.
Take a list of those 100 channels and mark which are 'important' and which you could (try) and live without. Then see if Flex satisfies you. If not, look at the add'l packages. It's certainly possible that Flex + the add-ons won't be satisfactory for you or others.we watch way less than 100

I'm sorry, but I still don't think you understand....there is no "Americas Top 250 Flex Pack" It's JUST the ONE AND ONLY FLEX PACK, and the CHECKED add on as charted. It was to demonstrate how much you would save, OR NOT, with the add ons compared to the regular packages. My confusion came from this chart. It seemed to be telling me that with Americas Top 250 Flex Pack the only channels I could possibly add were the Outdoor and the Heartland packs. I see my error now but why was the chart even included?
They along with the ever increasing programming costs have made my bill go north of the $100.00 limit I set for tv years ago. Being able to obtain the credits helped me to keep my bills reasonable. Now with the Flex pack and other packs you add, my bill will still be low under $100.00.
Now for the attacks on people who own their own receivers and ask for promo credits every 6 months or so.
