110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 5/26/2025)

Nope - I have all the callsigns already. This is exactly what I needed. However, can you confirm that these are the locals that Dish currently has? 8 channels? Sometimes there is a dispute or some random local that Dish doesn't have a contract to carry.

Boise, ID2HDKBOI (CBS)119, TP 02
Boise, ID6HDKIVI (ABC)119, TP 02
Boise, ID7HDKTVB (NBC)119, TP 02
Boise, ID9HDKYUU (CW)119, TP 02
Boise, ID11HDKNIN (FOX)119, TP 02
Boise, ID12HDKTRV (ION)119, TP 02
Boise, ID39HDKKJB119, TP 02
Boise, ID60HDKAID (PBS)119, TP 02
I know I am a few years late on bring this up. But Twin Falls, ID locals moved from 110, tp 31 to 110, tp 25 about 6 months after the switch. My Hooper has 110 tp 25 for locals and Lyngsat still does not show this change with 110 tp 31 sp37? I get a signal strength of 65 to 70% on avg.

Stations for Twin Falls on 110 tp 25
6 | KSAW (ABC) HD | ota rf 28 / vt 6.1
7 | KTFT (NBC) HD | ota rf 20 / vt 7.1
11 | KMVT (CBS) HD | ota rf 11 / vt 11.1
12 | KMVT (CW) HD | ota rf 11 / vt 11.2
13 | KIPT (PBS) HD | ota rf 22 / vt 13
14 | KSVT (Fox) HD | ota rf 14 / vt 14

KXTF (TCT) 35 removed in 2023.

As expected, Channel 252 is now streaming only - I no longer see it in my VIP211k lineup. Also, for some reason, here in Chicago, the NCAA womens basketball slate was remapped to channel 12 in the locals area of my guide. The channels originate on 6159 for men and 6160 for women. Does the women's basketball slate show up as a local channel on channel 12 for others, or is that just in Chicago as a mismapping?

I am doing a scan of the channels on Western Arc, and for the first time since 129 has been shut down, there is some movement of channels where it looks like Dish is trying to do something bigger than moving a single channel here and there. Last week, Dish removed all the active channels off 110, TP 24 and moved them to 119, TP 16. To make room on that transponder, Dish then moved some channels off 119, TP 16 to 110, TP 05. Right now the only channels left on 110, TP 24 are the slates for the Big 10 Network alternate channels. (at least that I can see)

Dish Studio is no longer on. It was on 102, 349, 9501, and 9502. Instead, it was replaced with an ad about Bonus View. It looks like is was permanently shut down. There is no more reference to it on the Dish Network website, other than an outdated channel lineup PDF. It is taking the same transponder space as Dish Studio, 110, TP 07.

It is unbelievable how much "nothingness" has occurred in terms of national channel movement between transponders since I last updated. The listings have now been updated as of 5/26/2025. Everything is so consistent now that there are only the 2 satellites on Western Arc.

HSN 2 HD is now on ch 286 as streaming-only - it still remains on ch 226 as SD satellite delivered
Thanks - I didn't know Dish did that - having an HD streaming version but SD on satellite. Makes me wonder why they don't do that with other channels. Such as DisneyXD, which they have streaming in HD on the DishAnywhere App but is only SD on the satellite feed.

Actually, The Grio is also that way: The Grio is on satellite Ch. 360 in SD and on Ch. 361 streaming in HD.

I agree with you in why don't they simulcast some of the SD channels in HD via streaming. I would love to have Oxygen, Stars Encore Family, MoviePlex, TV Land and the other Disney channels in HD. I have a FireTV Stick also connected to the same HDTV as my Dish Hopper3. When I want to watch Oxygen on Ch. 127 (and the others streaming in HD), I have to switch video inputs to my FireStick and launch Dish Anywhere, which is a pain!

Why not integrate the Dish Anywhere HD feeds into the satellite guide as separate channels. I think the issue in the past was that you could not record the streaming feeds, but that issue is now fixed.

Contracts.... As they come to lapse you will probably see just what you are asking for.
