I don't think Scherzer will come out of the bullpen again Thursday. I think he is done for this series. Hopefully he will be starting an ALCS game soon.

Getting excited about the game tonight. Peralta will be in LF and Scherzer is unavailable for tonight's game, as expected. I hope Jackson and Avila took extra batting practice yesterday because they need to start hitting the baseball.

Hmmm, rumor had it, Scherzer may be able to pitch if needed.
Has that been shot down ?

If Verlander goes 7 say, I would think Smiley comes in for the 8th and Benoit for the 9th.

Do you think they would let Verlander pitch 9 if he's on his game ?

I like what Iglesias is doing defensively but it doesn't seem like he has hit at all this postseason. I definitely want Peralta's bat in the lineup tonight and I guess I'm indifferent on whether Kelly or Iggy plays. Kelly has gotten a couple pretty big playoff hits over the last few years. Maybe Leyland will strike gold tonight.

Just wanted to stop in and wish all you Tigers fans good luck tonight! I'll be watching with anticipation to find out who will be playing my Sox in the ALCS. :)
