Great week for the Reds. Take three of four from the Cardinals then sweep the Dodgers. Can't ask for a lot meore than that. It should be a fun three weeks. Cards have the easiest schedule with only three games against the Nats against winning teams. Reds have six against the Pirates and the rest against losing teams. Pirates have a real tough series at Texas starting tonight. Then their schedule lightens up a lot except for the six against the Reds.

No way I would have predicted 6-1 against those opponents.

Reds offense fell asleep last night. Better wake up tonight. Good win last night for the Pirates to beat Darvish and right themselves.

Reds bats have gone dead once again. They made Wood and Jackson look like the 2nd coming of Koufax and Drydale. Reds have looked like a team satisfied just to make the playoffs the last two days. Not any energy at all. They had better pick it up a lttle or the Nats might just catch them.

In Texas to boot!! I've been a Red Sox fan for over 30 years, and I can't recall a time that they swept a 3 game series in Arlington. And the Sox play there every year (sometimes make two trips), and the Rangers haven't always had a good team like they do now. To sweep a 3 game series there is very impressive!!
