625 DVR , How MAny hours of Storage

I was wondering how many hours you get on a 625 vs a 522 , I thought I read awhile back that the 625 was allocated more hours , whats the total hours, will the USB ports every be turned on on these ? thanx!

625 has 100 hours of storage.

522 has 100 hrs

625 has 100 or 150 hrs

If your 625 only has 100 hrs you can upgrade it.

Steps
1. Delete all your recordings
2. Make sure it say 100 hrs fee
3. Menu 8 Prefferences 5 Updates
4. Change the update time to 2 minutes from the present time
5. Wait and allow it to upgrade
6. Repeat step 3
7. Reset update time to defaults
8. Enjoy the 150 hrs

You are correct about the 150. We have a ton of stuff on it (and I forgot about the amount we have on it) and it was close to 100.

Thanks, just upgrade my daughters' 625. They lost all of their timers, but it won't take them long to fill it all up again. Took about 10 minutes total.
