My Amiko that I've had for many years will power on and cycle off. I fear its time for a new one. The last guy I purchased this from pre-programmed it with the music channels on 101. Is there anyone out here selling these that offers this as an option?

Might just be the power supply. I had to replace mine at one point.

The same specs as the one they shipped with the unit, or the specs in TRG's link? Because many of the Amiko's shipped with power supplies that weren't "beefy" enough.
Good point. I bought mine from KE4EST. If I remember correctly the power supply was shipped outside of the receiver box. It wouldn't have fit in the Amico box. So I'm assuming the one I got was an upgraded "beefier" version from K4EST.

Its a 12 volt power supply rated at 3 amps. This does not appear to be the issue. I used a bench top power supply that is rated for a high enough current and the issue still persists.
That's too bad. To get back to your original question. I don't think there are any vendors around anymore that offer a pre-programming service. The last receiver I bought that was pre-programmed was from Mike Kohl. And that was a long time ago. Is there a reason why you cant program the music channels yourself?

Not to mention it's VERY easy to program music channels on an Amiko.

Casey Hyper Casey still sells brand new Amikos. He's a trusted member here and I've bought from him before.

Just backup your channel list from the old receiver and transfer it to the new one.

Maybe Casey would program the music channels for him. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
