Can anyone tell me how to cancel a manual timer I have set up for _daily_ recording at 9:01 pm lasting three hours for Big Brother After Dark when it was on. It now records whatever is on at that time on channel 538 SHO2HD.

This is on an HR20-700.

Check in your To Do List and delete it from there.

I have tried that but it will only delete the one program not the entire timer.

I have hit select on the program on the To Do List, then hit select on Record and set it up exactly as I entered it to set it up:

Recurring
538 SHO2HD
Everyday
9:01PM
03hr00min

Then I hit select on Cancel Record.

It says Record canceled! This program has been removed from To Do List.

Then I hit select on OK.

It cancels that one program I hit select on to start with but does not cancel the everyday timer so the rest of that timer's programs are still on my To Do List.

I need to find out how to delete the entire timer, if possible.

I called Directv to find out how to delete my everyday manual timer.

Had to go to Menu-Manage Recordings-Prioritizer and find the program, then hit the red button on the remote to delete the timer.

Thats good to know ... You have to go to the Prioritizer, that seems odd, but if thats how they have it set up, at least we know now :)

When I hit the delete in the To Do list, it asked if I want to Delete ALL , wonder why it didn't ask you that.
I tried it before I responded in the previous post, but it was a regular recording, not a manual, don't know if that would cause a diffence, but at least we know now.
