I checked last night on Channelmaster and each satellite that I have selected for Diseqc 1.2 shows position "0"

conversley, my Coolsat shows position "1", "2", etc for each satellite I stored. I'll look a little more this weekend and might try something with the Pansat 1500 (see if I can override those)

Will channelmaster allow you to rename and use the "default" 1.2 sat positions in the pansat? The ones that you cannot save a sat position to.

I was able to do it in GTools. I had terrible luck with CM corrupting the sat / transponders lists on my Pansat 3500s. Be carefull that you don't wipe the skew settings. CM wouldnt' let me set a negative skew value (for +45 / -45) after it zeroed them. CM may have been updated since I messed with it and my problems may have been specific to the 3500s but you can read about the fun I had here:

It's bundled in the 3500s firmware download from Pansatusa.com. It might be locked to 'just' the 3500s, but I noticed that the file seems identical to what's bundled with the 2700 firmware. I've split it off and attached it:

Speaking of channels, I'm just curious if this program (Channel Master) can be used to upload lists (.bin) into a Microyal FTA that is already set up for DN as we speak but I cant change anything and a few channels have moved TP like DIY and a few porns and I'd like to Edit the necessary changes.

Im glad to help. I use this with the import function with my Coolsat, quicker than importing with the coolsat loader.
