This station was having problems and only in SD, but from what I've read, it is now broadcasting properly. It airs a lot from Cinemax's main channel, but you get a lot of great movies that don't air there or if you missed something.

I can't recommend this highly enough (I already have this on one External Drive, but I'm going to record this showing to my new External Drive so that I have a backup).

Some of the best musicians in the U.S. recorded live at the top of their game, in high quality HD picture and excellent DD5.1 surround sound recorded with expensive studio quality microphones.

I would say that if you have ever enjoyed any sort of acoustic music, you will enjoy this. (And if not, hit delete and you are only out the time you spent auditioning it.)

It has been HD on HBO and TNT... but with TBS... hit or miss. King Kong looked very good last month on TBS.

If it has been HD on TNT, then it seems likely that they will be using the same file for the TBS-HD broadcast.

I'm the only one in my family who has seen this (typical misdirected snobbery about anything so popular) and I know that the bigger and clearer the image, the more impact the film will have.

BTW, the time slot is easily long enough to air the entire film uncut with plenty of commercials.

And, it is repeated on Sunday. 5/25 at 4pm EDT.
