Good "Move"

Well I followed the sage advice you all gave me and "moved" last Friday. I got an American CSR, and she handled everything without a hitch. I was able to watch the Super Bowl in awesome HD last night, all I can say is WoW! The CSR also told me that DISH had detected my broadband hookup, and had dropped my "no phone" fee. I'm pretty damn happy at this point so something is sure to go wrong any moment!

From Laredo, Texas (no locals), to San Antonio, Texas (3 locals in HD, 4 in SD). Now I just hope DISH doesn't look at my IP address...........

IP addresses are so hit-and-miss they could never use them.

Nah dish wont even look into it, unless you are one ofthe unlucky ones reported by the RAT team, receiver audit team, but well they only look into stacked accounts. You should be safe.

The receivers got a "location id" isnt that how they track em?


with 13 mill customers, i doubt it will be a problem, unless you do a dishin it up or a service call, thats when they can find out.
