HBO and Showtime cost

How much does Directv charge for HBO and Showtime? Do they give any additional savings for subscribing to both?

I'm showing 17.99 for HBO & 13.99 for Showtime. They have a 3 month special - both for 17.99 then it goes to regular price for each.

Dish is $19.99 for HBO and the same $13.99 for Showtime. For the two it is $28. According to the Direct tv site "HBO® HBO® and related channels and service marks are the property of Home Box Office, Inc. Note: HBO® can't be discounted." I don't see the price for more than one premium movie channel or exactly what can't be discounted means.

Do people really pay full price for premiums? I have had $5-10 off per month with Showtime for years. They always offer discounts on premiums when I call, usually without me asking. I also complain about the lack of Pac 12 and get similar discounts on the sports pack.

If you want the best deal, call and ask for one. If you don't ask, the answer is always no.
