HD PPV Boxing this weekend on Dish Network

Hey folks, I just wanted to remind everyone that this weekends Mosley -vs- Vargas PPV fight will also be available in HIGH DEFINITION on Dish Network on Dish Network Channel 9467.

I saw a thread at another forum stating the fight would not be shown in HD so I emailed Dish Network for clarification and received a reply back from Marc Lumpkin who confirmed that it WILL air on 9467.

You see it on 9467??? I see it it in the regular PPV area, 472 I think but have regular programming on 9467. It shows The Island and then War of the Worlds. I have a 942 by the way.

its like 50 bucks.. I updated my guide early this morning and it showed.. it could be possable that it hasnt changed in your guide yet as the guide info is stored on the hard drive. I got a 622

Wow, boxing in HD, oh yeah I'll be in Jamaica. Too bad. Geez, if they would have gotten my 622 to me like they were supposed to I could of recorded it.

Has anyone purchased the fight in HD yet. I might have to hook up a long temp. phone line to the 411 so I can order it. I think they charge a dollar more if you order PPV on the phone.

It is strange. I still don't see it on my guide (in HD). I would love to see it in HD. Maybe it will show up over the next day or so?

I have a 622 and also didn't see it listed. I did a check switch and when it finished it automatically downloaded the guide data. And then it was there! Still not sure If I'd go for the $44.95, but it's a possibility. I know for sure that I wouldn't spend that for the SD fight.

The last time i ordered a PPV fight I got in both HD and SD. The fight is going to be awesome even if wasnt in HD I'd order it. I mean Vargas and Mosley its going to be a killer fight.
