After 1 month...the Marlins are NOT ONLY significant....but a fun team to watch! Too bad the south Florida fans don't get give a rats ass about it.....

That is a shame. What else do those retirees have to do with themselves?! You'd figure "America's Pastime" would thrive in a state with a ton of old folks!

Miami is very young.....And south broward just the same. The issue is....south florida is an area of that consists of approx. 40% LOCALS and about 60% of people that moved from somewhere else. And the team has VERY LITTLE history. I mean they have only been around since 1993. AND this will ALWAYS be a Dolphins town.....too many years of NO OTHER pro sports team other than the Dolphins.

....but how many cities can claim 2 world series championship in the last 10 years?

Congratulations goes out to Tribe starter, Cliff Lee, for earning recognition for AL Pitcher of the Month for April.
Lee went 4-0, 0.28 ERA and had a .109 batting average against him in the month of April!
