One store already selling Hoppers

I really don't see the point in buying one since Dish charges you the same receiver fees whether you own or lease.

I think you might have to buy if you have a prepaid account. Seem to remember something like that also for the snowbird RV'rs that have no permanent address ( but I may be wrong!).

When DishDepot had the info on their website, they indicated they would have a trade-in program for receivers bought from them. Details on trade-in values TBA.

Dish hasn't even publicly posted what everything will cost yet. The only thing they've told the public is that the product is "coming soon" without even acknowledging the 3/15 date yet.

It looks like these online sellers are getting ahead of Dish's plans.

As I recall, they've done trade-ins in the past, but I haven't done business with them in years since I went HD and leased from Dish.

It wouldn't surprise me as I know I would not want to deal with the support headaches of the soccer moms me all the time as they don't understand why they can't watch TV in their other rooms since the system only has 3 tuners for everything.
