I do not have any sales tax or other government fees on my Dish Network bill in Arizona.
I live in Arizona and lease my equipment. My bill shows "STATE/LOCAL TAX (SALES/GROSS RECEIPTS) . . . . $0.41" This sounds like an actual tax and I don't see any other fees listed. The tax was the same amount before the rate increase a few months ago. Please post what the Tax rate is in your state, and if your state does not charge sales tax then what the sales tax rate is just on the leased equipment.
In Michigan for example there no tax, however we are taxed 6% on the $5 equipment rental fee which is $.30 per recever per month
