OK well here is whats going on. I got everything hooked up and found G25.
I get a signal strength of about 82 and a signal quality of about 60.
Should it be better than that? I'm used to a C-Band of 100 percent signal quality. When I done a power scan, a lot of channels came in including
Al Jazerra. I can watch it just fine. But is 60 percent good enough or should I do a little more adjusting.

By the way there is hardly any signal quality lost in the RG6 even though its a 150 feet run. Signal quality is the same with 10 feet of coax or the 150 feet of Commscope.

Thanks
allen

G25 has been known to have some low results. Al Jazeera and Russia Today seem to have the lowest quality on the signal meter.

Thanks Iceberg for your prompt reply. Its dark and COLD here in St louis. Im done for the night anyway. Maybe this weekend I will check the elevation again.

Cold here in Minneapolis...gonna be -10 with wind chills of -25 to -30

I know on the Fortec Classic the meter reads a smidge lower than my Pansat and Al Jazeera is around 65 or so

My experience on g25 is if 11874 is coming in clear (about 45-49% on my Fortec Classic) - everything else will be great. That's the weakest TP for me.

Seems like 60 to 65 quality on the Mercury is a good reading as you will find no 2 receivers read the same. thats what I get with my Mercury on G25 hook up the Ultra and it will read between 85 to 95% quality. so in the 60's with a Mercury is very good.:)
