SXM still giving discounts

Sorry, I posted on yours instead of Scooter.
If I recall, the CSR I had on my first call told me the $99 deal was only good for those who got a particular offer in the mail (e-mail?) and that they had sent them to people who had cars > 7 years old. Not sure why.

My two cars are less than 3 years old, I receive that offer in the mail ( amongst others) all the time.

Yeah.... I've received deals for (about) $99 a year before, but not $99 for 3 years.
I actually just loaded up my wife's car with the $99 for 3 years deal. It very clearly says will not automatically renew. It also says that cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. My billing period ends On April 1, 2028. So, when I cancel my sub today I will have service until April 1, 2028 so they say. We shall see...

Just to recap, when i went to cancel I had to go to chat. That told me that I am set to not renew so I will not be charged ongoing! 🥳

They told me, I don't have to call/text in next year either ...
If I don't, do they assure that my service won't be disconnected and my CC won't be charged at Higher rates ?

The way I look at it, I should be able to next year, Chat in and they should offer me the same price as I had this year, or Better.
If Not, then I did have to call/text in.

I did the dance with them yesterday and was able to lock in our radios at $6.99 per month plus the music fee. I pay with a Privacy.com card which lets you use any billing address and zip code so I don't have to pay any sales tax. That gets me down to $33 and change for four radios. I most likely am going to drop the portable one soon as I don't use it very often anymore which will save even more.

If you're on an "Advantage" plan you shouldn't have to do the dance next year. You should keep the same rate moving forward. I'd been on the Platinum Advantage plan for about 3 years and the price hadn't increased until a few months ago. They sent me an e-mail telling me that all older regular plans were increasing by $3 each, so my Advantage plans would also increase $3 per radio.

Apparently, they created the newer "Music & Entertainment" Advantage plan recently so I did a chat and was able to switch all my radios to it. It's $6.99 plus the music fee, which is basically what my original Advantage plan was before the recent increases.

After going without Sirius for about 2 months, finally received a offer that I thought was worth it.

All Access , a year for $50 (plus taxes), for both autos and streaming.

They originally said $50 each car, I said never mind, then it became $50 for both, yes I checked my credit card for charges, one $50 charge, both car radios are active.

After checking my account, I found that I too am on that same plan.
Q. Is all the Football and Baseball part of that package (Entertainment perhaps)

I had Music & Entertainment the last time, no sports.

I had Music & Entertainment the last time, no sports.
Thats interesting ...
My package says :

Music and Entertainment Advantage
I confirmed that I would get the games ahead of time (this was last Feb) or I didn't want the changed package ...
I've been listening to games as needed ... wonder if they added to that package ?
I know it was cheaper this year than previous years.

Hope to keep this package ... at this price (don't remember what I paid all together this time around, but it was cheaper).

So, I'm presuming seeing its the Advantage package, I will automatically be renewed ... they always send me an email in Dec about my year ending, it will be interesting to see how it works next year.

I remember wanting to listen to the Michigan Football game (I was driving), it was not available, same trying to listen to a Lions game.

Not that big of a deal, since normally I would be watching, if they offered me Music/Entertainment at the same price, would of taken the deal.

Lions are in the 8-900 range ...
Baseball is up there as well, they are Streaming channels, I think everything above 300 is actually.

Does your radio go above 300, many of them don't.

For example, the Big Ten network is around 372ish area ...
If you don't get those, inquire if you have the Streaming portion on your account, its usually Free.

This is a "newer" Music & Entertainment plan that does contain sports.

He is correct in that there was an "older" Music & Entertainment plan with limited channels (no Stern and no Sports)

I had checked this morning and we're still 8 weeks from renewing our account.

A new streaming bundle is entering the marketplace, combining a service for Fox News super-fans with a destination for talk radio, all in one place.

The satellite radio giant SiriusXM is launching the new bundle, which will include its app-only "All Access" plan, as well as a subscription to Fox Nation, for $11.99 per month. That is a 33 percent discount compared to the price of buying each plan separately, with the SiriusXM plan normally costing $9.99 per month and Fox Nation $7.99 per month.

SiriusXM of course has a slew of talk radio options, alongside its lineup of music and sports programming. That includes shows and channels hosted by the likes of Conan O'Brien, Howard Stern and Andy Cohen, but also channels like SiriusXM Patriot and Triumph, which feature shows from Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity, and Nancy Grace.
