2010 NCAA Football Season

OU sends Nebraska off to the Big-10 (the new Big-12) tomorrow with their tail between their legs.

OU 24 - Neb 14

If Martinez is full speed and the Black Shirts can pressure OU's quarterback into an Arkansas love affair (interceptions at the worst possibe time) then Nebraska 58 OU-----------------------------Who's going to the Big 10? OK, OKIEs by 40.:D

You live there dont you ;)

Haha, yeah, grew up in Bama, have lived in several southern states and visited northern an western ones. I havent seen a huge difference between them all.
I will say, that southerners seem to be more friendly to strangers based on my experience.
Not saying everyone else isnt friendly.

Your post was probably in jest to an extent, but I was just curious. Not much difference between Mississippi and Florida, or Bama, or Georgia, or Tenn, or Louis.....well, lets be honest, LA is different than everywhere. :D

lots of good IAA (or whatever they call it now) football playoffs if you have the sports package or ESPN3

The one I wanna see is North Dakota State vs. Montana State (on Altitude) :)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

How about those hokies?? So much for those first 2 games.. they mean nothing after you've just rang off 11 straight wins and now heading to the Orange Bowl!! :D

I wouldnt say that they mean nothing. The orange bowl berth could have been a NC game birth otherwise.

In any case, congrats.

That was an awesome sendoff for the OU / Nebraska rivalry. That was some classic hard hitting football.
Yeah, a great end to a storied rivalry. The Big 12 messed up by not adopting the SEC/ACC/(now BigTen) model of a cross divison rival, and not allowing then to play every year. Now the rivalry is dead unless the schools schedule it out of conference. But it'll never be the same as in the old Big 8 days.

I was thinking the same thing. The major schools and fans are not just happy with winning their conference. The only successful season is a trip to the NC game.

Thats true, a BCS bowl is an accomplishment to be sure, but if you are in contention for the NC, then not going to it is a let down, or would be to me. I know that us probably going to the Cap. One Bowl is for me considering the expectations that many had (although I did not figure Bama would repeat).
