You would have to pay me to live in Mississippi also. Even if its just 4 years..
Even people in WV say "Thank God for Mississippi"

Obviously, none of you have been to Louisiana.

OU sends Nebraska off to the Big-10 (the new Big-12) tomorrow with their tail between their legs.
OU 24 - Neb 14
Yeah, but the Kentucky guys can always say, "at least we're not Vanderbilt".Says the guy from Kentucky....

That is sometimes a good AND a bad thing.....well, lets be honest, LA is different than everywhere.
How about those hokies?? So much for those first 2 games.. they mean nothing after you've just rang off 11 straight wins and now heading to the Orange Bowl!!
Yeah, a great end to a storied rivalry. The Big 12 messed up by not adopting the SEC/ACC/(now BigTen) model of a cross divison rival, and not allowing then to play every year. Now the rivalry is dead unless the schools schedule it out of conference. But it'll never be the same as in the old Big 8 days. That was an awesome sendoff for the OU / Nebraska rivalry. That was some classic hard hitting football.
I wouldnt say that they mean nothing. The orange bowl berth could have been a NC game birth otherwise.
In any case, congrats.
I was thinking the same thing. The major schools and fans are not just happy with winning their conference. The only successful season is a trip to the NC game.
