2010 NCAA Football Season

Listen, I can't stand OSU and I'm by no means a fan of Miami so I can make a accurate pick based on stats from last year to this year and what each team currently has on hand and that would put Miami up by 10 winning this game even if it is in Columbus. The ACC has 5 strong teams in the top 25 this year and that speaks alot..its hard for any team in the ACC to go undefeated since they are all rather hard to beat no matter what field your on. I've been to the shoe once, its not that much different than a few other fields I've been too. Now I can assure you this.. it isn't no where near as loud as a few other stadiums I've had the pleasure to visit including Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.

But I'll stand behind this pick... Miami by 10 with or without soiled jocks.

That doesn't sound like you're standing behind anything. To me, it seems like you're already backtracking. A few pages back, you were guaranteeing a U win by "at least 2 TD's". Now you're saying by 10? I think even Miami's fans are starting to soil themselves. Lol!

Ok I stand corrected in a point spread... 10 points 14 points.. two scores either way... and no I'm not "backtracking" I just don't wish to argue it so I'm unsure as to why your wanting to argue this so much? I'm no Miami fan either, I'm just picking who's going to win based on stats and other information we have currently. Now, things may change based on injuries and whatever between now and then and that's fine...no biggy.

I certainly am no buckeyes fan, (I hate them so because my ol lady is from ohio and is a buckeye fan, so of course I have to hate them.) (I been a gator since birth)

Anywho,

As much as I dislike the Buckeyes I hate the Hurricanes even more. (UF and Miami used to have a good rivalry going in decades past. So I am really not sure who I want to win. Although Ill be happy no matter who loses.

Believe me when I tell you, fans of The U have had this game circled on the calendar for a VERY long time. Hence me stating that I WISH Ohio State was ranked #1.;)

I was wondering whose turn it was this year:D
The SEC Refs like to keep 1 east & 1 west undefeated, so we can have a #1 & #2 in the Championship game, so with Florida playing both LSU & Alabama, you can't have both Florida & a west team be undefeated, so it must finally be Georgia's year. ;)

Don't know who they'll pick between Alabama & LSU, probably the Tide.

I did send my check in early this year, so I hope so

Terrelle Pryor said yesterday at Ohio St. media day he intends to stay at O.S.U all 4 years & wants to leave a legacy!

From all reports, Pryor was not at Media days.
He may have stated that from Columbus, but not Chicago.
Unless Tressel changed his mind, but I doubt it.
I thought the Media day's deal was over at the end of last week ?

Normally he sends Senior's only.
I year he had to send Jr's as we didn't have any noteworthy Sr's.

He was inside Ohio Stadium, behind a podium, entertaining questions from the media. Not sure if it was the official "media day", but he did mention this to the media...

ALOT of coaches also say that they would not leave their current coaching job. That statement might also mean that he knows full well that he will more than likely not smell anything better than a 4th or 5th round pick in the NFL draft.

He's only played 2 years in college, so there's no telling how high his stock could rise after this and next year.

Sorry dude....GREAT athlete....but no where NEAR a good enough passer to be a back up. He will more than likely no where near Tim Tebow stats or winning percentage and Tebow was a 2nd round....and we are talking about arguably the best college QB of ALL time....and a 2nd rounder.

The Ohio State QB that was backing up in Baltimore, Troy Smith is 10 times more QB than this kid will ever be. And unfortunately, all Smith could do is be a backup(though I do think he has never gotten a chance). Do you think if this kid ahd ANY chance of being in the 1st round, he would have made that statement? Even after Tebow won the Heisman twice, they were telling him to stay because he was NOT gonna be a 1st rounder.

I've never looked at Terrelle as being a guy that would be "ready" for the NFL after his Jr. year.

If he comes out this year and plays extremely well, he's still not ready .... that doesn't mean he wouldn't go, plenty of players go before they are ready.
