Todays game was pathetic!

C'mon they swept Boston a few weeks back who had the 2nd best record in baseball, yet the Royals who have the worst record they loose 2 games to!

There is no reason why they should have lost todays game!

THey have been playing sloppy lackadasical ball for a few weeks now, since the BoSox series, I don't know if they don't take the teams seriously or what, they seem to play good ball against good teams.

Time for Leyland to lay down the law with them again .

Yeah well look at the Reds. They sweep Atlanta and then lose 3 out of 4 to Florida. They keep losing the games in the 8th inning because the bullpen sucks bad. Real bad.

Hard to understand what's up with the Tigers at home. (5 games over .500). On the road they're 15 games over .500. Pitching has been for sh*t the last 3 games.

Tigers sure shuffling players in and out of the roster lately. Jimbo, how about a scouting report on Hessman. Another pitching suckfest last night.

Hessman has been with Toledo the last several years.
He's basically a power hitter, which also comes with alot of strikeouts.

I cannot give you awhole lot on him as they have already took the players stats down off the Hens site.

I have seen him play, if he can cut down on the K's he could stick for a bit at least till the Tigers get Thymes back.

I have watched the last several games (Tigers) and Hessman is hitting pretty well !!!
I don't know what his average was when he came up, but I would guess .260-.280 .....

Everyone seems to be waiting for Joel Zumaya to come back and save the day ....
Theres no telling what we will see from Joel when he does get back.
I would be suprised to see him at the same point as he was last year right away, but most are expecting it.

Yep, I arrived back home yesterday evening. Come to think of it...I was living out-of-state back in 1984! Seriously, the pitching has got to get better.

To be honest, they just aren't the same without Steve around and when Brendan left and before that Brett Hull left, about that time was when it started to go down hill. that said, I never expected to get as far as we did last year either.
